The Art Stall Gallery

A native of Washington State, Joan began her career as a commercial artist, designing advertising and promotional materials for various companies, among them A.T.&T., Pacific Northwest Bell, Western International Hotels and the NBA. In time, Joan became increasingly interested in the fine arts side of her field and eventually abandoned the commercial work to concentrate on painting.

Joan's painting interests are varied, many hours are spent traveling the back roads and city streets of the Northwest in quest of subject matter. Working from her own sketches and photos, Joan creates detailed watercolors that attempt to capture the spirit of the Northwest and its people.

Paintings by Joan Glenn have been accepted into many of the major shows in the area. Her finished pieces are much sought after and hang, not only in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the country, but in many foreign collections as well.
