I use color pencils to create the portraits and most of the painting are of birds, my personal passion, but nature and landscapes are a close second! I try to match each color I see in my subject and like a puzzle, it eventually becomes a whole picture. After that, I feel like a sculptor getting the textures, expression, and focus the way it should be. Drawing feels like magic to me. I have been painting landscapes in watercolor and a whole new world of color and textures has opened.
